The green iguana is found in southern and central America ranging from Mexico to southern Brazil and Paraguay, as well as on the Caribbean Islands. They can grow up to 7 ft. in length including the tail. Iguanas live in tropical rainforest areas, generally in lower altitudes in areas near water sources, such as rivers or streams. They spend most of their time high in the forest canopy, about 40-50 feet above the ground.

Visitors love the experience of meeting our friendly Rhinoceros Iguana as he roams about the tropical house. Rhinoceros Iguanas are found on the Caribbean Island of Haiti and are an endangered species.

Bearded Dragons are native to Australia.
They are very entertaining with their animated and highly social behaviour. They have a mild temperament with a flexible diet and are of a robust nature.

These lizards are carnivorous and  feed on fish, snails, frogs, eggs, birds, small mammals and large insects. Nile monitors live throughout Africa except for the desert regions. Nile monitors grow to about 6 to 7 feet in length. They have muscular bodies, strong legs and powerful jaws. These animals are particularly aggressive.
